WCQS Public Radio

Since 1985 Don Pedi has been an on air host at NPR affiliate WCQS - 88.1, Asheville, North Carolina.

He is the on air host of the "Close to Home" radio show which airs on Saturday nights from 8-10 pm.

Close to Home features an hour of vintage and contemporary "field" and commercial Traditional Appalachian music recordings and then an hour of an ecclectic mix of mostly acoustic folk, popular and world music.
